Trina, our Director of Training, started all this awesomeness back in 2006 when friends of hers started asking her to train them thru Personal Training. Trina found a passion in training and went on to obtain her BCRPA Certification in Personal Training and also became a BCRPA Group Fitness Leader. After years of successful Personal Training experience and multiple new Fitness Certifications, she and her husband Pete, took the plunge and decided to lease some space in downtown Maple Ridge.

In 2013, Trina and Pete opened a small fitness studio with a whopping 6 members doing group classes and personal training. Since then they have grown the business into a 3800 sq ft. state of the art training facility complete with showers, change rooms, air conditioning and the best equipment.

Our team continues to grow just as our community has grown over the years. We look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your goals.

Trina Chickloski
Director of Training & Coach

Trina has been involved coaching in the fitness industry for over a decade and is in charge of the bulk of the programming at Create Athletic Club. Along with her numerous certifications she has also participated in the CrossFit Open, PentathaWOD, Okanagan Valley Throwdown and Rubens Throwdown to name a few.

Pete Chickloski
Operations Manager & Coach

Pete started his fitness journey like many young men... hitting the bicep curls and bench press with the concrete weight set his dad purchased for him. After graduating High School, the bodybuilding bug really hit and Pete started training as an amateur bodybuilder. Along came a wife and kids and suddenly time became an issue. Thankfully his wife got his butt back in gear thru Functional Fitness and he has re-ignited his passion for fitness.

Mina Calupitan
Coach and Youth Athletics Coordinator

Mina leads our Youth Programs here at Create Athletic Club as well as being one of our CreateFit Coaches. She has worked all over the world, helping adults and youth achieve their personal fitness goals. Mina brings a ton of experience and amazing energy to our facility; she is a welcome addition to our team of professional coaches.

Steven Lovett

Steven is a Kinesiologist registered through the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK). He began his career in health and wellness in 2005 as an Aquafit Instructor and Personal Trainer with the city of Port Coquitlam.

Steven taught traditional Tae Kwon Do to students of all ages while attending the University of the Fraser Valley. He also received mentorship from an experienced Kinesiologist and a team of Physiotherapists at his previous position.

4th Degree Black Belt in ITF Taekwon-Do

Andrew Colyn
Mobility Coach

Andrew came to us after numerous interactions at local events and when the opportunity came to add him to our team, we jumped at the chance. Andrew brings a calming presence to the gym and leads our Mobility Program. Andrew is also a successful Yoga Instructor and currently is training with Ido Portal to enhance his knowledge base.

Jeremy has been involved in the Functional Fitness Community for years and has worked with multiple to level athletes as well as with the average gym goer. His programming experience is a cornerstone to what we do at Create Athletic Club. Jeremy has coached at the highest levels and his experience shows in the well thought out programming with utilize daily.
